If I use shredded straw instead of hay there shouldn’t be too many weed seeds. Any seeds get covered over and basically rot. I am thinking of doing a cover crop this fall, but haven’t decided which one. It’s gotta be non winter hardy, non seed producing and have deep roots. It’s a tall order, I know.

Oh yah, and I love all the baby clothes on the line! I remember hitting all kinds of garage sales before my daughter was born. I loved that I could wash all of her clothes in one load!
