I can’t say that I have had as broad and true a perspective as you have had during your pregnancy and toddler years with margot, but I think deep down, the last 4 years I have been grappling with the same things. Searching for the same answers. It touched me so your words, and gave me such hope that I too am following a path that will bring me peace and happiness. Quite simply…..the birth of a child is a miracle, especially to the one pushing it into the world. AND and added “especially” when the one doing the pushing is one I too loving pushed into the world.

A beautiful story, beautifully written (as always). Bug really did enjoy having a swimming pool in the dining room. A swim and a nap was the perfect bridge from “No Sister Born” to “Hi, Sister Born Cutie-Pie”.
