I am honored (and a little terrified, to be honest) to be a presenter at the 2014 Write: Doe Bay! It’s a writers retreat on Orcas Island — a creative channel where ocean, food, storytelling, music and authenticity shine.

I am one of several presenters (whose names will be revealed tomorrow and Wednesday!) and feel incredibly lucky to work with and learn from such a talented bunch. Written of us on the website, we have joined to commit our belief in something amazing, something new to the world of workshops and storytelling. This year, the workshops will center on songwriting, memoir, essay (that’s me!), and query letters/agents/publishing.
